Driven by Passion
Led by Vision
As a kid, I remember spending hours in front the computer scrolling through sites, browsing, reading, learning what certain brands were but mostly window shopping. I didn’t have the heart to ask my mom for any of it but starting there I was completely engulfed in fashion. I would have Facebook, YouTube, sneaker news and some website open I’d have found from google searching an item I had just saw. I would sit and watch these guys just review stuff on YouTube they bought all day. At the time I didn’t realize they were doing this stuff for work.
In my hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia nobody was doing anything like this so I didn’t know it was possible to get in to any of this stuff. The coolest thing I had seen anybody doing was barbering so from there, out of me just wanting to do something I thought was cool , I went to Barber school. I cut hair from a teenager into the early 20s but Eventually I ventured from home and moved to North Carolina and stopped cutting hair. I was always into fashion but from a consumer standpoint point. it was those years down there and me looking for purpose and wanting to use idle time that led me to taking a sewing class from there.
I just tried everything! from sewing, graphic designing, styling, You name it I did all of it! I wanted it to be in the business anyway possible. Through my own creative approach I set out to build my own entity and Today all of those things I learned and practiced show up in the work today that we do an Opera House.
